In celebration of Flag Day, Mills Pond Elementary held a morning ceremony featuring members of the USA Patriots softball team and patriotic songs courtesy of the Fourth grade chorus
Brian Gentilotti and Landis Sims are members of USA Patriots softball, formerly known as the Wounded Warrior Amputee Softball team.
“We are here to preach perseverance and that you can do anything,” said Brian, a former member of the Air Force.
“Our organization’s motto is, Life without limbs is limitless.”
